このところ、＜ellipsis arts...＞から貴重で有り難いCDが出ている。 このCDはAKA族により近いBAYAKA族の音楽を集めたもので、 アメリカ人の Louis Sarno による近年の録音。 立派な装丁の本にCDがセットされたもので、 彼らの生活や音楽など美しいカラー写真とともに仔細に纏められている。 インターネット時代、CDnowにて入手したもの。 ( Sep.12.1998 )
この音源は2013年のドキュメンタリー・フィルム《Song from the Forest》で使われる。 製作したのはドイツのディレクター Michael Obertで、 作品はオランダでの国際ドキュメンタリーフィルム・フェスティバル2013にて公開され賞を受けた。 Louis Sarno は惜しくも2017年4月1日にニュージャージーにて亡くなった。R.I.P。 ( Jul.07.2017 )

2014年製作のドキュメンタリー映画《Song From The Forest》のサウンドトラックCD。 Louis Sarno収録の音源が使用されている。 製作したのはドイツのディレクター Michael Obertで、 作品はオランダでの国際ドキュメンタリーフィルム・フェスティバル2013にて公開され賞を受けた。 Louis Sarno は惜しくも2017年4月1日にニュージャージーにて亡くなった。R.I.P。 映画のシーンに、中央アフリカのジャングルに大型の重機が走り回り、 大きな木々が伐採され細かい丸太に切り刻まれていくシーンがある。 それも広大な土地で。あまりに衝撃的なシーンだ。 ( Jul.07.2017 )
